Birthing Center: Putnam Hospital Center's state-of-the-art obstetrics unit offers mothers and their babies the latest advances in birthing techniques, comforts and care. The attentive, highly skilled staff includes board certified obstetricians, gynecologists, neonatologists and certified nurse midwives.
The Birthing Center's amenities are designed to pamper new mothers and provide private labor/delivery/recovery suites with added comfort areas for families and visitors. In addition the Center offers a dedicated suite for cesarean deliveries and a luxury Jacuzzi. A full range of childbirth and parenting classes is offered throughout the year.
Pain Management Program: Putnam Hospital Center's Pain Management Program is available to assist with debilitation pain. Directed by an anesthesiologist, the Pain Program support team is comprised of specialists in physical medicine, rehabilitation, psychiatry, psychology and physical therapy.
Outpatient Physical Therapy: The outpatient Physical Therapy Department provides help after an injury, illness or surgery. The department is staffed by a skilled team of compassionate professionals dedicated to helping patients achieve their potential and reach their rehabilitation goals. In addition to its general rehabilitation program, Putnam Hospital Center offers aquatic therapy, wound treatment a sports medicine program and spine program.

Created in 1994, the Putnam Hospital Center Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation whose principal activity is the solicitation, receipt, holding, investment and administration of contributions on behalf of Putnam Hospital Center.
